Troubleshooting CodeMeter issues
If you encounter the error "No valid SOS key was found," or your software is stuck on the small, square image of the SOS globe as it starts up:
- All CodeMeter license servers are accessible.
- Your network's DNS configuration is properly configured if you have a custom DNS.
-
The CodeMeter license dongle is plugged into your machine.
a. You may also try connecting the dongle to a different USB port in your machine, as the current port may have failed.
